Orientation 2021 Market Day Dubbo
In February 2021, some 100 new students will begin their tertiary education at Charles Sturt University, Dubbo.
About this Event
Orientation is one of the most engaging times in a student’s university life. As well as introducing them to campus life, we would also like to give them the opportunity to become familiar with businesses in Dubbo that support Charles Sturt and its students.
We offer your business the opportunity to be better placed in new students’ minds as they commence study and living and engaging in our community by being involved in Market Day.
During Orientation week show bags will be handed out to commencing students. We welcome the inclusion of tangible items into these show bags (e.g. branded smart wallet, pen, notepad, USB). Charles Sturt has a commitment to sustainability and reducing paper waste, therefore we will be aiming to keep paper flyers to a minimum. We ask you to use this opportunity to find a way to make your business stand out to students.
We are also grateful for any donations that can be used as prizes on the day, or any other contributions such as food and drink, or anything that can assist the students in their transition to university. Items for prizes and show bags are needed by Thursday 18th of February.
The day will commence at 11.00 am and conclude at 2.00 pm.
There is no cost for you to have a site on Market Day! We can offer you a stall site 3m x 3m, some of which are powered.
Thank you, we look forward to working with your business to provide students with the best possible Orientation experience and introduction to Dubbo.
