Ceramics in the Country
Join us in Gunning for a morning of hand building stoneware cups, trinket dishes and a country style morning tea.
About this Event
We are excited to announce our first workshop for 2021 - Ceramics in the Country. Leading the workshop is the lovely Emma from The Seasonal Ceramicist. Emma is an emerging ceramic artist from Canberra who creates original jewellery and homeware pieces. Emma will be leading the workshop, walking you through hand building ceramic techniques to create a stoneware cup and a little porcelain trinket dish.
Due to the finishing process of the ceramics, Emma will take your pieces back to Canberra after the workshop to fire and glaze them for you. They will then be posted back to your home within four weeks.
We’ll be finishing off the workshop with a backyard country style morning tea (weather permitting) while conversing with some new friends and breathing in the beautiful country air.
