Icons of the Clare Valley Degustation Dinner

South Australian Chef of the Year Nicola Palmer will design a six-course, individually plated degustation dinner to match truly iconic Clare Valley wines. The evening will start with Pikes Merle Riesling and Canapes before seating for dishes matched to aged Grosset Riesling, Taylor's St Andrews Chardonnay, Wendouree Cabernet Malbec, Kilikanoon Oracle Shiraz, Jim Barry Armagh, and end with dessert paired to Mount Horrock's Cordon Cut. To be held in the airconditioned Hell Hole private dining space but warm clothing is recommended as we will start on the Hell Hole terrace alongside of a fire pit for canapes (weather permitting). Sommelier Warrick Duthy will take guests on the ultimate wine Journey around the Clare Valley. The Watervale Hotel was awarded '2022 Best Restaurant in a Pub or Club in Australia' by the Restaurant and Catering Association. Book early. Limited to 20 guests.
