Master classic Japanese dishes in a hands-on, fun two-day cooking course!

On the search for fun things to do on the weekend? Learn how to cook Japanese ramen and sushi like a pro at this two-day cooking course in Mosman!

Within two days, master the fundamentals of healthy and easy Japanese cooking as you gain practical skills and knowledge. You'll also save $40 by combining the two, instead of trying them out separately.

During the class, follow detailed demonstrations by celebrated chef Yoshiko Takeuchi, who has had over twenty years of experience and has frequented some of Sydney's top kitchens, authored two cookbooks and worked on shows like The Biggest Loser.

You will follow traditional methods replicable at home, including essential Japanese seasonings, cooking techniques and a variety of yummy recipes, whilst learning how to maximise the health benefits of Japanese ingredients.

* Multiple sushi techniques: Thin roll, thick roll, inside out roll and Nigiri

All classes served with Matcha green tea.

Did you know most Japanese restaurants use lots of MSG in their cooking? These restaurants also don’t use traditional miso and soy sauce which means the food loses taste and nutrition! But don’t worry. This class is MSG-free and we will use only traditional, high-quality Japanese ingredients to make our food yummy and healthy.

* Reservations may be transferred to another available class if more than 30 days' notice is given.

* If you cannot make it to your reserved class, you are welcome to send someone in your place.

Please bring an apron and wear closed shoes. For those without one, aprons are available to rent for $8. Everything else will be provided.
