Clare Valley Gourmet Week, Walk Wine & Dine

The Clare Valley Wine & Wilderness Trail Committee, together with Corporate Sponsor "The Clare Valley Walk" would like to invite you to Walk, Wine & Dine in the Clare Valley during the 2026 Gourmet Week Celebrations.

We are hosting 4 walks throughout the week showcasing some of the best bits of the trail, in addition to sampling delicious gourmet food and premium Clare Valley wine.

Walks 1 & 2 - Festival Walks

Each Festival Walk takes place during the traditional Gourmet Weekend, we'll stop at wineries where there will be time to buy food and wine before continuing.

Walk 1 - Stage 2 & 3 CVWWT

  • Date & Time: 16th May 9am

  • Route: Blue Gum Lookout to Killikanoon

  • Distance: Approximately 8km

  • Wineries: Jeanneret, Skillogalee, Mitchel Wines & Kilikanoon

  • Food & Drink: Multiple Opportunities to buy from wineries

  • Transport: Make your way to the Blue Gum lookout, we'll try and have a plan to get you back

  • Cost: Free - If able please make a donation at the time of booking, Donations go toward trail maintenance

    • Walk 2 - Stage 6 CVWWT

  • Date & Time: 17th May 9am

  • Route: Sevenhill Hotel to Pauletts

  • Distance: Approximately 9km

  • Wineries: Sevenhill Cellars, Hill River Wines, Pikes, Pauletts

  • Food & Drink: Multiple Opportunities to buy from wineries

  • Transport: Make your way to Sevenhill Hotel, we'll try and have a plan to get you back

  • Cost: Free - If able please make a donation at the time of booking, Donations go toward trail maintenance

    • Walks 3 & 4 - Lunch Walks

    Each lunch walk takes place during the more relaxed Gourmet Week, walks are shorter, there is an opportunity to stop for a break at a winery and do a tasting if you like. The walk ends at a Restaurant where you can join us for lunch. Note that if you want lunch on arrival you will need to book this seperately, book for 1pm and tell them you are part of the Clare valley Wine & Wilderness Trail group.

    Walk 3 - Stage 2 & 3 CVWWT

  • Date & Time: 15th May 10am

  • Route: Blue Gum Lookout to Skillogalee

  • Distance: Approximately 6km

  • Wineries: Jeanneret & Skillogalee

  • Lunch: Join us for lunch at Skillogalee (you must make your own lunch booking, book for 1-pm)

  • Transport: Make your way to Blue Gum, we'll try and have a plan to get you back

  • Cost: Free - If able please make a donation at the time of booking, Donations go toward trail maintenance

    • Walk 4 - Stage 1 CVWWT

  • Date & Time: 18th May 10am

  • Route: Corner Farrell Flat Rd and Clampett Rd to Mr Micks

  • Distance: Approximately 7km

  • Wineries: Tim Adams & Mr Micks

  • Lunch: Join us for lunch at Mr Micks (you must make your own lunch booking, book for 1-pm)

  • Transport: Make your way to Corner Farrell Flat Rd and Clampett Rd, we'll try and have a plan to get you back

  • Cost: Free - If able please make a donation at the time of booking, Donations go toward trail maintenance
