The Sugar City Powerfest is set to return to Palmyra Dragway in Mackay Qld on the 18th-20th of September 2026 for it's final event.
With the 3-day event being Horsepower Heaven for motorsport fans, the weekend includes Drag Racing featuring Supercharged Outlaws, , Roll Racing, Go-to-whoa, Powerskids and with the feature of the event being the Burnout Competition which is now a Burnout Masters qualifying event, it is non-stop action for the entire weekend with something for everyone. Kid's Entertainment and food vendors onsite with a bar operating daily.
