Sip our Wine Stories

South Australian wineries invite you to "Sip Our Wine Stories" in the stunning Mortlock Wing and Treasures Wall of the State Library of South Australia.

This event celebrates the origins of our wineries: both those with long histories and newer players on the scene.

Immerse yourself in the tastes and tales of As If Wines, Balnaves of Coonawarra, Byrne Vineyards, DogRidge Wines, Hardys Tintara, Karrawatta, Maxwell Wines, Norfolk Rise, Rymill Coonawarra, Schwarz Wine Co., The Islander Estate and Wangolina.

For a ticket price of $35 (plus booking fee), you will receive:

• Entry into the event and access to both the Mortlock Wing and Treasures Wall.

• An individual charcuterie box (dietary requirements will be catered for).

• A Great Wine Capitals wine glass that is yours to keep.

• Six complimentary wine tastings (one complimentary tasting from six of the twelve participating wineries).

Once your tasting tokens have been exchanged, wine can be purchased directly from each winery by the taste, flight (several tastes) half glass, glass or bottle. Bottles can also be purchased and taken home on the night.

Sip our Wine Stories is presented by the South Australian Wine Industry Association (SAWIA), The State Library of South Australia and Adelaide a Great Wine Capital of the World.

This event is supported by the South Australian Government through the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.

*The event is limited to the Mortlock Wing and Treasures Hall areas of the State Library of South Australia. You will not be able to access other areas during this event.
