Celebrate 80 Years of Chauncy Vale Wildlife Sanctuary with an afternoon of history, nature, and community.
Join us on Saturday, 12 September 2026 from 1:00 PM until approximately 7:00 PM as we mark this special milestone and recognise eight decades of conservation, connection, and community at one of the Southern Midlands’ most treasured natural spaces.
Enjoy guided walks through the sanctuary, local history and story telling, family-friendly activities, and food and refreshments throughout the afternoon. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore Day Dawn, which will be open during the event.
As dusk falls, the celebration will conclude with a special screening of the classic film They Found a Cave, creating a memorable finish to this unique community event.
Bring the family and help us celebrate the history, heritage, and natural beauty of Chauncy Vale Wildlife Sanctuary.
