Board the Seaworld Cruises vessel in search of majestic whales. Learn fascinating insights about whale behaviour from knowledgeable crew members and marine researchers. Be amazed by breathtaking whale displays, and keep an eye out for playful dolphins and sea turtles along the way. Best of all, your ticket directly supports marine conservation through the Sea World Foundation.

10am: Arrive at the Hub and Check-in

10:30: Depart Hub for Broadwater Parklands HOPO Ferry terminal

11am: Depart Broadwater Parklands via HOPO Ferry

11:10am: Arrive at the Seaworld terminal for the 11:30am Whale Watching cruise

2pm: Whale watching cruise concludes

2:10pm: Return to Broadwater Parklands via HOPO Ferry

2:30pm: Arrive back at the Broadwater Parklands

What to bring?

- We suggest wearing flat enclosed shoes and bringing a warm jacket, sunglasses, a camera, and seasickness remedy (if required).

What if it rains on the day of my cruise?

- Whale watching tours operate in the rain. Rain does not affect the whales’ behaviour, and the vessels have large covered decks for passenger comfort. On rainy days bringing a raincoat is recommended. Ponchos are available for purchase at check-in, subject to availability.

Please note the operator may cancel or amend a booking due to unsafe weather or sea conditions.

If this happens, we will let you know 24 hours in advance and we will try to reschedule the excursion date. If you are unable to attend on the new date we will provide a full refund for you. 

Food and beverages:

- You are NOT to bring your own food onboard. 

Snacks, cold drinks and alcoholic beverages (served after 10:00 AM) are available for purchase on board the vessels.

This event is exclusively organised for Gold Coast students. Please bring your Valid Student ID Card (or CoE if you are an international students) for check-in purposes.
