Sophie’s Patch Pumpkin Festival at Sedan Hall ……….. with special guest Costa Georgiadis

Join us for a very special event to celebrate the magic of pumpkins with a delicious lunch, roast pumpkin taste tests, and afterwards enjoy a garden tour of Sophie’s Patch 2.0, Shingleback Farm.

Start with pumpkin tastings of more than ten different heirloom pumpkins grown at Sophie’s Patch roasted in garlic and olive oil.

Then enjoy a casual lunch of exotic pumpkin inspired dishes created by Sophie’s Patch friend and collaborator, chef Heather Hristovski, finishing with sweet pumpkin treats and tea or coffee.

Your taste buds will be delighted with a menu of:

Roasted pumpkin soup with roasted chickpeas and sour cream served with crusty bread

Pumpkin hummus with herb flat bread

Pumpkin arancini balls with garlic aioli 

Pork, pumpkin, feta and fennel sausage rolls

Pumpkin and chickpea curry with rice

Roasted pumpkin, lentils and mesclun salad

Finish off with tea or coffee, and sweet pumpkin slice

Between courses enjoy listening to Costa talk about his passions for plants, people and planet.

After lunch enjoy a personally guided tour of Sophie’s Patch, Shingleback Farm.

When: Two dates available: Saturday 1st or Sunday 2nd August.

This event will run from 12.30pm to 2.30 at the Sedan Hall and then finish with a garden tour of Sophie’s Patch 2.0 from 2.30-3.30pm.

Bookings are required through Humanitix at the total cost of $94 per person.

What to wear – bring a warm coat and sensible shoes for the garden tour as it can be fresh.
