Learn the art of needle felting with the whole family! Parents and siblings are welcome to have a play and dive into the fibre arts.

Family Needle Felting Classes are designed to be relaxing, welcoming, and accessible for a wide range of ages and abilities. Whether you're bringing children, teenagers, parents, grandparents, or even younger siblings, everyone is invited to join in the fun.

Participants can choose to follow the project examples provided or let their imaginations lead the way. No prior experience is required, and individual guidance provided by Cristina is available throughout the class to support each participant at their own pace.

Weekly Projects

30/7 - Needle felting designs onto Bookmarks (2D felting).

6/8 - Needle felting designs onto Tote bags (2D felting).

13/8 - Intro to 3D needle felting, creating flowers, love hearts, stars using cookie cutters.

20/8 - Intro to 3D needle felted sculptures, making baby cows.

27/8 - Intro to 3D needle felted sculptures with appendages, making Koalas.

3/9 - Mastering 3D sculptures with tiny appendages, making sea slugs and snails.

Children aged 5 years and over are welcome to try needle felting with the support and supervision of their parent or guardian. As felting needles are sharp, participants will require assistance from their accompanying guardian.

Younger siblings are also welcome to attend. For children who may be too young for needle felting, a selection of age-appropriate creative activities will be available to help keep little hands busy while the family participates.

Classes are held at a family-friendly venue featuring a small playground and outdoor area, providing additional space for movement and breaks when needed. Tea and coffee provided.

• Optional snacks (please ensure all food brought into the venue is nut-free)

• Comfortable clothing suitable for crafting
