Join us for a memorable evening as we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Augusta Community Resource Centre with an exclusive piano performance by talented local artist Kate Finkelstein.

This special members-only event is a wonderful opportunity to come together, celebrate this important community milestone, and enjoy an intimate live performance in the heart of Augusta.

The evening will feature The Lighthouse Tree, an original music theatre work written and performed by Kate Finkelstein.

"There is a great tree that grows beside the sea. Its branches cradle forgotten stories, while its roots reach deep into the world of the subconscious. One night, a little girl wanders beneath its boughs and discovers an enchanted realm inhabited by extraordinary women. Each encounter becomes a song. Each song, a doorway."

Blending folk, progressive pop and theatrical storytelling, The Lighthouse Tree drifts between fairy tale and profound introspection, exploring themes of vulnerability, identity, grief and transformation. Tender, whimsical and quietly profound, this captivating performance invites audiences to reflect on one enduring question: What is a woman?
