Wild games and beginners' bushcraft

Join us at the Botanic Garden for an engaging afternoon of nature-based play and practical bushcraft skills.

This outdoor program encourages children to connect with nature through fun, hands-on activities that build environmental awareness, confidence, and basic wilderness skills.

Activities include:

- Nature-based games and group challenges

- Hands-on bushcraft activities, including an introduction to food foraging and plant medinces

- Creating a simple plant-based remedy to take home

Led by experienced facilitators in a relaxed and supportive environment, this program inspires curiosity, teamwork, and a lasting appreciation for the natural world.

Activities are suitable for children aged 8 to 12 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Cancellation: A decision to cancel due to bad weather will be made by 8am on the day of activities. Ticket holders will be notified by email and a message will be posted on the Botanic Garden's website and Facebook, refunds will be issued in the event cancellation
