Rural Women LEAD

Rural Women LEAD creates opportunities for rural women across south west Victoria to LEARN, ENGAGE, ACHIEVE and DEVELOP (LEAD) together through a series of five dynamic workshops focusing on:

  • Building capability through shared learning, reflection cultural change.

  • Supporting and empowering women's leadership and progression in the region.

  • Celebrating and promoting local women and their contributions and achievements.

  • Creating opportunity to connect, network and collaborate in a brave/accountable space of like-minded people.

  •  To ensure easier access for rural women, workshops are staged in various locations across south west Victoria.

    Workshops:

    #1: The Superpowers of You with Dr. Jodie Fleming: 5 June: 10am - 2pm: The Stables, Koroit

    #2: Leading Self for Life and Professional Fulfilment with Jessica Fishburn: 19 June: 10am-2pm: Sterling Place - Dunkeld

    #3: Future Voice: Expressing Ideas That Create Change with Lynne Cazaly: 17 July: 10am-2.00pm: Union Station Hotel - Woolsthorpe

    #4: Becoming Her: a self-leadership intensive with Karen Foster: 7 August: 10am-2pm: Conlans Wine Store - Port Fairy

    #5: Indigenous Story Telling through Art with local Keerray Woorroong/ Yorta Yorta artist Sherry Johnstone: 21 August: 10am-2.00pm: Deakin Hydrogen Hub Warrnambool

    #6: Media Ready: Pitch, Perform, and Be Heard with Kirsten Diprose: Date: 30 October: 10am-2pm: Stirling Place, Dunkeld Community Centre

    You can opt in to all workshops, select 1 or a number of - up to you. 

    Ticket prices (includes morning tea and a light lunch): 

    Super Early Bird: $225+GST* per workshop - closes 24 April

    Early Bird: $275+GST* per workshop - closes 8 May

    Full Rate: $300+GST* per workshop - closes 28 May
