Come make something weird, wonderful and wildly wearable this Arts Alive!

Join VOiiiD Collective for a colourful explosion of creature-making, where recycled bits and forgotten treasures are transformed into bold, bizarre and brilliant wearable masks and headpieces. Design, cut, stick, sculpt, build it bigger, make it stranger, then bring your new creature to life through movement, play and performance.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have your very own one-of-a-kind creature ready to wear, parade and unleash around Arts Alive Festival!

Creature Lab is a playful mash-up of visual art, sustainability, movement and imagination, open to a broad range of ages, abilities and creative experience. No fancy art skills needed, just a willingness to make, play and get a little strange.

BRING 3 RECYCLED ITEMS from home to transform or toss into the communal creature-making pile. Think cardboard, containers, fabric scraps, old decorations, packaging, colourful odds and ends, shiny thingamabobs and mysterious whatsits. If it has creature potential, bring it along!
